Wendy & Drew's Mid-Atlantic Wedding

JN Chalk & Co has been featured on Style Me Pretty and we are beyond excited! The wedding of Wendy & Drew took place at Green Spring Valley Hunt Club, which is a little bit of a drive for us New Jersey vendors. BUT, if I have learned anything from starting my own business and following your dreams, it is that saying "YES" to new opportunities is the best thing you can do for yourself. You never know what doors those opportunities will open...

We have worked with Party Rental Ltd.'s marketing team a handful of times, creating chalkboard designs for their popular chalkboard bars. When Wendy and Drew decided they wanted to rent a chalkboard bar for their wedding, they immediately came to us for the design. I was hesitant to accept the job at first. It was - and still is - the furthest we have ever traveled for an on-site chalkboard creation, and the chalkboard needed to be completed on the morning of the wedding. It didn't take me long to decide that it was worth the trip! My company was fairly new and I decided I was not in any position to turn down new opportunities.

The morning of the wedding, I had no idea what to expect. I hadn't seen any pictures of the golf club set up for a wedding, the colors involved, the theme or style, etc. When I arrived, I was blown away by how beautiful everything looked. From the tent and beautiful hanging lantern installation, to the blue vintage goblets, everything was absolutely perfect. I was thrilled to be a part of such a beautiful wedding along with so many other talented wedding vendors. The magic that can be created by people who love what they do is truly amazing!
